Assessing the Readiness to Reveal: Resume Writing Strategies for LGBTQ Students, by Rayna A. Anderson (pages 27-34)

Gender and sexuality disclosure is a major choice, one much too important to decide on in a short, 30-minute appointment. Well-informed career services practitioners should challenge LGBTQ students to consider how far they are willing to go to get the perfect job. Counselors can help students identify how integrated their personal and professional identities are, and how coming out—or not—could influence their workplace experience.

**This article was written to fulfill requirements for graduation, but was submitted for publication to contribute to progressive career services practices.
